adding SPH-EXA-0.96.1-foss-2023b-CUDA-12.4.0.eb for 2023.6

@ocaisa not sure if from-commit is preferred over from-pr ?

not sure why my editor did something weird with the newline characters in the file and github shows some weird diff

@pescobar pescobar changed the title Add sph-exa for 2023b {2023.06}[foss/2023b] SPH-EXA-0.96.1 CUDA-12.4.0 Mar 19, 2026

You need to target EB 5.2.1 and it must go in an easystack in the accel so:

easystacks/software.eessi.io/2023.06/accel/nvidia/eessi-2023.06-eb-5.2.1-2023b-CUDA.yml

I have moved the easyconfig to the right easystack as @ocaisa suggested

I'll run a build for this just to test it, but I think we should focus effort on #1453

The install was ok, but something went wrong in the cleanup somehow. This resulted in a hang, which then resulted in a job timeout.

Let me just try again, we haven't seen this before, hoping it was just a hickup...

Hanging, with the same resulting line:

libgcc_s.so.1 must be installed for pthread_cancel to work

Strange. I don't understand why it would be specific to this PR, and we don't see it for any others.
